Olympia Coffee is a small-batch roaster dedicated to sourcing and roasting some of the world’s finest coffees. From their home in the Pacific Northwest, Olympia partners directly with coffee farmers across nine countries in East Africa, South America, and Central America – building lasting relationships rooted in fairness, transparency, and respect.

Every coffee Olympia roasts is made daily, in their downtown Olympia roastery. From there, our coffees make their way to cafés, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores throughout the Pacific Northwest, across the U.S., and to select international partners who share our passion for quality and ethics.

 

Olympia Coffee Franchise Facts

  • 2005 Olympia Coffee is founded as a wholesale coffee roaster with a 12-kilo Diedrich roaster.
  • 2007 Olympia Coffee expands to 108 Cherry St. in downtown Olympia and opens its first retail coffee bar
  • 2009 Begins first Direct Trade sourcing projects in Central and South America
  • 2013 Awarded Micro Roaster of the Year by Roast Magazine and Launches first Direct Trade projects in Africa (Burundi and Kenya)
  • 2019 Named Best Coffee in Washington State by Food & Wine
  • 2024 Represents the United States at the World Coffee in Good Spirits Competition in Copenhagen, Denmark.
  • 2025 Awarded 2nd Place in the United States Coffee in Good Spirits Competition
