Buffalo Wild Wings honored Latrelle’s Management Corporation’s Houston Hobby location as one of its Top 25 Restaurants during the company’s Spring 2012 Conference in San Antonio. With more than 825 locations in 48 states and Canada, Buffalo Wild Wings bestowed the award to a short list of restaurants demonstrating excellence in everything from sales to sanitation and economic stability.
“We were thrilled to hear LaTrelle’s Management Corporation listed among the restaurant operators recognized for this prestigious honor – and surprised in that we did not know this recognition was in the works,” says LaTrelle’s COO Wally James, Jr. “We later found out the winners on this list are nominated and chosen by Buffalo Wild Wings management, which makes our trophy all the more meaningful.”
Buffalo Wild Wings also honored LaTrelle’s Houston Hobby location for superior performance under the award category of Same Store Sales Increase.
“We credit our 33.72% sales increase over the previous year to a successful remodel of the Buffalo Wild Wings Restaurant within Hobby Airport in Houston, better training and enhanced management efficiencies,” adds LaTrelle’s CFO Kenneth James. “Of course, a significant part of the credit goes to the restaurant for their popular brand and vision toward aggressive expansion.”
LaTrelle’s opened the first airport-based Buffalo Wild Wings in 2009 at Houston’s William P. Hobby Airport, where LaTrelle’s is credited with introducing Buffalo Wild Wings’ first breakfast program. The restaurant is now one of the most popular attractions for travelers and employees in the airport.
