Award-Winning Restaurateurs Add Best Airport Local/Regional Dining to Accolades

Houston, TX — March 18, 2018 —LaTrelle’s, the restaurateurs who own and operate the Hubcap Grill inside Terminal A of Houston Intercontinental Airport (IAH), is celebrating the honor of being chosen by USA Today readers as the best airport restaurant for enjoying local and regional food. A Houston-based, family-owned company, LaTrelle’s is known for introducing and promoting the city’s best local gourmets  to the world at large by opening beloved favorites, like Hubcap Grill, Pink’s Pizza, and other legendary institutions at both IAH and Houston’s William P. Hobby airport. 

“When we introduced the Hubcap Grill to IAH two years ago, we were meticulous in making sure we preserved the ambience, flavors and heritage that make this brand a cult favorite in Houston. In addition to the USA Today Readers’ Choice award, Hubcap Grill was recently honored by Travel + Leisure, who ranked Houston as the top burger city in the nation, and stated that, “Hubcap Grill may just have the Best Burger in America!” Alison Cook, a two-time James Beard Award winning restaurant criticrecently declared Hubcap Grill a “hamburger heaven” and said, “It [Hubcap] belongs in a category reserved for the very best restaurants in the city.”

Ricky Craig, the Founder of Hubcap Grill, remarked, “Winning USA Todays’ Readers’ Choice award is a great honor, and I’m thankful LaTrelle’s chose Hubcap to represent Houston’s best burgers and beers at IAH,” said Craig.

The Hubcap Grill at IAH is open daily from 5 a.m. to 10 p.m., and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner.
